WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y.-- Valerie Musmeci died Saturday, Dec. 19. She was 69.
Musmeci was born June 26, 1946, in Mount Vernon. She worked for Chase Media Group in Wappingers Falls. She was a crossword puzzle enthusiast.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Musmeci; her son, Louis Musmeci and his wife, Candace of Myrtle Beach, S. C., her daughter, Kelly Musmeci of Poughkeepsie, her granddaughters, Summer and Brooke Musmeci and Jordyn Herder, her brother-in-law, Charles Musmeci, and her sister-in-law, Josephine Musmeci.
Visitation is Monday, Dec. 21, from 7 - 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Route 9, Fishkill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
